The FMCG Industry Research Institute released the "FMCG Brand Energy Weekly Observation," which collects, surveys, and analyzes brand communication data to summarize and rank FMCG brands' energy indices. The aim is to provide periodic brand communication references for FMCG brand owners and a reference coordinate for supermarket users in brand selection.

Report Overview

From July 25 to August 1, 2016, among 10 brands including Yili, Master Kong, Mengniu, Liby, Nongfu Spring, and Haitian, Yili, Mengniu, and Wanglaoji ranked in the top three in the comprehensive brand energy index, with Yili taking the top spot.

In the hot summer, which is the peak sales season for herbal tea and other beverages, Wanglaoji actively deployed its brand communication strategy. With recent consecutive efforts, Wanglaoji ranked first in brand breadth.

Mengniu was included in the "2016 Global Brand Footprint Report" and had a very strong brand communication last week, ranking first in the brand strength list. Yili, also included in the "2016 Global Brand Footprint Report," stood out in the professionalism and precision of its brand communication last week, ranking first in the brand depth list.
