Pentawards is the world's first and only design award specifically for product packaging. As the Oscar of the design world, winning this award undoubtedly becomes a benchmark for global product packaging trends. The annual Pentawards design competition is a hot topic among design peers, open to all countries and anyone related to packaging creation and marketing. Entries from around the world are judged by an international jury, which selects winners based on the creative quality of the submissions. Depending on creative quality, winners receive Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond Pentawards. On the evening of September 26 local time, the 2015 Pentawards ceremony was held in London, UK, unveiling a batch of award-winning works. Among the list, several are from China. In recent years, the increasing frequency of Chinese wins in design competitions indicates the continuous improvement of China's design level and its rising status in the world.
