Sales is tough, and to hit targets, I've forced myself to become three things: a madman, a fool, and a grandson. This means having the spirit of a madman, the stubbornness of a fool, and the awareness of a grandson, which are essential for success in sales.

What is a Madman? A madman thinks too much, racking his brains over product innovation, pricing, promotion, channel expansion, and marketing strategies, wishing he had three heads. In the end, he's exhausted, eyes glazed, and goes home to sleep. But it's this madman spirit that helps us do better in the market and makes it easier for customers to accept our products. In sales, the fear is not being "mad"; being "mad" is good. However, the more "mad" you are, the greater the pressure.

What is a Fool? A fool is out in all weather, keeping company with the sunrise and dancing with the stars, with sales targets and performance metrics in mind, remembering the boss's lectures and threats. There's no choice but to keep running forward. No reinforcements, no intelligence, like a kite with a broken string, drifting everywhere. Drinking from the Yangtze, eating fish from the Pearl River, fighting north and south, east and west, just like Tom Hanks in "Forrest Gump." Running until your legs give out, sometimes without immediate results, and then facing the boss's criticism back at the office. Under the sun, under pressure, braving wind and rain—that's the sales "fool." But why do so many people become "fools"? Of course, if you stick it out, there are rewards. I've heard that if you stay in sales until 30, you have two paths: either you become an entrepreneur or a professional manager.

What is a Grandson? A grandson: these days, whoever buys your goods is the boss. When facing distributors, retailers, and consumers, we have to squeeze out a smile from our tired faces, even if it's awkward, but the smile is sincere. You can't neglect the "grandfathers." You cater to their views and practices, figure out how to please them, and even do the "crow feeding back" move, treating them well like a grandson. But you can't always be a "grandson." Sometimes in sales, you can't be soft! You must have your own opinions! You can't give in to customers! You must follow company procedures...

The "three sons" spirit of salespeople: eating boxed lunches, riding buses, sleeping in simple, cold hotel rooms, and entertaining clients in the evening, doing the "three accompaniments." On rare weekends with a girlfriend, you might call the boss and lie, saying you're meeting a client. Through all hardships and by all means, that's the true portrayal of us marketers. Sometimes I want to cry, but I can't, because tears have dried up, leaving only the drip of sweat without salt... With the "three sons" spirit, we see success and get closer to it. Those who watched "Soldiers' Sortie" know the six words: "Never abandon, never give up." Honestly, being a madman, a fool, or a grandson isn't bad. These days, we lack this kind of Xu Sanduo spirit. For a better tomorrow, sing and dance, and move forward with a smile...
