On November 3, the fourth College Student Art Fair (Wuhan), sponsored by Blue Moon, officially opened at the Wuhan International Convention and Exhibition Center. As a well-known youth art project in China, this edition attracted over 2,600 outstanding works from 637 art students and young artists from home and abroad. The exhibition is open to the public from November 3 to November 7.

This year marks the tenth year that Blue Moon has been the title sponsor of the College Student Art Fair. Since 2014, based on its concern for the growth of young original creativity and the cause of social art education, Blue Moon has provided museum-level display opportunities for nearly 24,000 works by about 7,300 artists, helping the new generation of artists set sail for their dreams and promoting the healthy development of domestic youth art with practical actions.

A Diverse Showcase: The New Generation of Art Displays Innovative Talent

The fourth College Student Art Fair (Wuhan) will be held in a professional space of nearly 15,000 square meters. It is reported that this edition attracted enthusiastic submissions from 4,883 art students and young artists from 355 institutions at home and abroad, with a total of 30,821 submitted works. Notably, the post-90s and post-00s generations are the absolute main force of this edition, accounting for as high as 85.6% of participants; among them, the post-00s generation accounts for over a quarter for the first time, reaching 27.3%, fully reflecting the distinctive features of "young, contemporary, and future" of the fair.

As a large-scale youth art exhibition that centrally showcases the achievements of college art education, the fair's display content almost covers all existing fine art majors in art academies, ranging from ancient painting genres with a thousand-year history to emerging disciplines such as art and technology in recent years.

In addition to appreciating traditional art works such as Chinese painting, oil painting, and printmaking in the comprehensive exhibition area, visitors can also experience the diverse forms of art in six themed special zones: some artists have incorporated the highly anticipated AI painting technology into their creative process this year, exploring the new possibilities that new technology brings to creation; many art academy students use multimedia, AI programming, motion capture technology and other technical means to innovatively integrate traditional techniques with emerging technologies, continuously expanding the boundaries of art. During the five-day exhibition period, projects such as body theater, public art interactive experiences, and portrait sketching will also be staged in turn, providing visitors with a comprehensive and multi-dimensional exhibition experience.

In the pursuit of innovation, Blue Moon and the College Student Art Fair share a high degree of alignment.

As a benchmark brand in China's washing industry, Blue Moon adheres to innovation as a driver, continuously introducing new products, deeply understanding consumer needs, leading consumers to upgrade their cleaning experience with new cleaning products, and helping consumers aspire to a better life. At the same time, adhering to the original intention of promoting the growth of China's young innovative forces, Blue Moon has been the title sponsor of the College Student Art Fair for ten consecutive years, helping young artists realize their artistic dreams.

Ten Years of Companionship: Jointly Conveying the Beauty of Art

At this special moment of ten years, the organizing committee of the College Student Art Fair awarded Blue Moon a special honorary commemorative award of "Ten Years of Companionship, Walking Together on the Art Road" to record and commend Blue Moon's public welfare achievements in supporting youth art for ten consecutive years.

At the same time, this edition of the fair also set up a special zone of "Ten Years of Companionship, Walking Together on the Art Road" to conduct a comprehensive review of Blue Moon's ten-year (2014-2023) art public welfare journey. Over the past decade, by sponsoring various youth art projects under the fair, Blue Moon has directly purchased and collected more than 1,000 works, providing young creators with great spiritual encouragement and direct economic support.

This special zone not only presents a series of public welfare art collections that Blue Moon has funded for young artists, but also sets up interactive activities such as DIY postcard printing, photo-taking and lottery draws, allowing visitors to personally experience the beauty of ten years, the beauty of art, and the beauty of cleanliness.

In addition, from the beginning of the partnership, Blue Moon and the College Student Art Fair jointly launched the "Blue Action" public art project, inviting the public to participate in themed co-creation, allowing art to take root in community life, permeate people's daily lives, and illuminate everyone's aspiration for a better life.

At this edition of the fair, Blue Moon, together with the College Student Art Fair, launched the public art project "Blue Action: Gifts from the Moon," inviting children and adolescents aged 3-18 across the country to create works inspired by the "moon" and encouraging participants to give away works that carry their thoughts and blessings.

It is worth mentioning that the event also specially invited young artist Zhao Tianqi to use AI painting to re-create popular works, creating a brand-new visual effect through the collision of art and technology.

At present, the call for works for the "Blue Action: Gifts from the Moon" public art project has been successfully concluded and has officially entered the exhibition stage. At the fair site, visitors can not only appreciate the outstanding shortlisted works, but also experience the magic of AI painting works up close.
