And so-called 'feng shui' and 'wealth' come from managing yourself well, not complaining, not fearing, but being positive and grateful. 'One part spirit, one part wealth; ten parts spirit, wealth comes naturally.' Your good state will naturally attract people in a good state. There is a magnetic field between people—meet the highest version of yourself! All self-made millionaires have reasons for their success. One of the reasons they transformed from ordinary people into successful individuals with seven-figure assets lies in their 'rich habits.' This phrase was coined by Thomas Corley, who spent five years studying the daily habits of 177 self-made millionaires. 1. They read regularly The rich prefer learning over entertainment. Corley wrote: '88% of the rich read at least 30 minutes a day, mainly for self-education and self-improvement. Most people don't read for entertainment; the rich read to acquire knowledge.' Corley found they tend to read three types of books: biographies of successful people, personal development or self-improvement books, and history books. 2. They exercise consistently '76% of the rich insist on at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise daily,' Corley wrote. Aerobic exercise includes running, sprinting, brisk walking, cycling, etc. 'Aerobic exercise is not only good for the body but also greatly benefits the brain,' he wrote. 'It increases neurons (brain cells), and physical exercise also raises glucose levels in the body, which is the brain's fuel. The more nutrients the brain gets, the better it develops, and the smarter you become.' 3. They associate with other successful people 'You will be as successful as the people you frequently associate with,' Corley wrote. 'The rich always seek friends who are goal-oriented, optimistic, enthusiastic, and positive.' Also, avoid contact with negative energy or influences. Corley emphasized: 'Negative, pessimistic criticism will push you further away from the road to success.' 4. They pursue their own goals 'Pursuing your own dreams and goals can bring long-term happiness, which ultimately translates into substantial wealth,' Corley wrote. Too many people make the mistake of chasing others' dreams (like their parents'). The rich continuously refine their own goals and pursue them with tenacity and passion. 'Passion makes work more interesting,' Corley wrote. 'Passion gives you the ability to overcome failure, mistakes, rejection, and provides persistence and focus.' 5. They wake up early In Corley's study, more than half of self-made millionaires wake up at least three hours before their work hours begin. This is a strategy to deal with unexpected daily work situations, such as meetings running long, heavy traffic, or needing to pick up a sick child from school. 'These unexpected events can have a psychological impact on us, altering our subconscious, and ultimately making us feel life is out of control,' Corley wrote. 'Waking up at 5 a.m. and completing the three most important tasks of your workday gives you back control of your life and a sense of confidence that you are leading your own life.' 6. They have multiple income streams 'Self-made millionaires do not rely on a single source of income; they have multiple ways to earn.' 'In my study, 65% of the rich had at least three sources of income before earning their first million dollars.' Additional income includes real estate rentals, stock market investments, and partial ownership of side businesses. 7. They have mentors 'Finding a mentor can help you accumulate wealth faster,' Corley wrote. 'A successful mentor not only positively influences your life. By guiding you on what to do and what not to do, they can regularly keep you on the path to success. They share valuable success experiences with you, either from their own mentors or from past failures.' 8. They have a positive attitude 'Only with a positive mental attitude can you achieve long-term success. In my study, positivity is a hallmark of all self-made millionaires.' The problem is that most people cannot determine whether their thoughts are positive or negative. He explained: 'If you stop and listen to your thoughts, feel their presence, you'll find that the vast majority are negative. But only when you force yourself to look inward will you become aware of these negative thoughts. Being aware of them is crucial.' 9. They don't conform 'We always want to fit into society, adapt, and be part of it, so we try not to stand out too much.' But, 'not being able to distinguish yourself from others is why most people fail to achieve success.' Successful people create their own circles and pull others in. Corley said: 'You need to stand out, then create your own circle and let others join you.' 10. They help others succeed 'Helping others pursue their goals and dreams and achieve success can also benefit you. Without other successful people, success is hard to define. If you want to be successful, the best way is to first help others.' However, you shouldn't help everyone. Corley said: 'You should only help those who are optimistic, have clear goals, are positive, and chase their dreams.' 11. They spend 15-30 minutes thinking daily 'Thinking is the key to their success,' Corley discovered. The rich tend to think independently for at least 15 minutes each morning. 'They think about many things in their minds each morning,' he explained, covering topics from career and finances to health and charity. They often ask themselves questions like: 'How can I earn more money? Does my job make me happy? Am I exercising enough? What charitable activities can I participate in?' 12. They seek feedback 'Because we fear criticism, we rarely seek feedback from others,' Corley wrote. 'But feedback is key to understanding whether you are doing things right. Feedback helps you know if you are still on the right track. If the feedback is critical, whether good or bad, it is an important element for learning and growth.' Furthermore, feedback allows you to change focus and experience new careers or paths. As Corley said: 'The information provided in feedback allows you to succeed in any business.' -END-
