Wang Xing, Cheng Wei, and Huang Zheng: All Heading to the Same Battlefield
At Didi's internal all-hands meeting on the morning of November 3, CEO Cheng Wei publicly discussed Orange Heart优选 for the first time, stating that Didi's investment in it has no upper limit and aims to secure the top market position. Launched in April in Chengdu, Sichuan, Orange Heart优选 has surpassed 2.8 million daily orders. The community group buying sector, once overlooked, is now attracting major players and capital, with the potential to evolve into a low-price retail chain akin to Dollar General in lower-tier Chinese cities.
