The China Brand Power Index (C-BPI) is guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and implemented by Chnbrand, a highly credible brand evaluation institution in China. It is China's first brand value evaluation system, incorporated into the MIIT's brand policy system and supported by special funds from the MIIT. It is an independent and unbiased study based on feedback from Chinese consumers on products or services they have used or owned. It measures the brand power index that influences consumer purchase behavior and is the most trusted brand evaluation system for both consumers and enterprises. As a continuous annual survey project, C-BPI was first implemented in 2011, with 2015 being the fifth edition. By annually publishing Brand Power research results composed of awareness and loyalty for relevant industries, it helps consumers make informed choices and assists enterprises in establishing brand management systems to enhance brand power.
