Yantai Yishang Logistics Co., Ltd. was established in 2002, mainly engaged in warehousing, loading/unloading, and distribution services for food, beverages, alcohol, daily necessities, etc. It now has 60,000 square meters of three-dimensional standard rack warehouses and a 3,000-ton low-temperature cold storage, equipped with modern logistics handling equipment and vehicles. Its distribution services cover over 9,000 outlets including major supermarkets, chain stores, convenience stores, and internet cafes in the five districts of Yantai. Let's illustrate Yishang Logistics' cost advantage with an example: Assume annual sales of 100,000 items, 10 kg per item, requiring a 400m2 warehouse. Under the traditional model, warehousing costs would be 138,000 yuan, loading/unloading costs 18-20 yuan per ton, and transportation costs average 300 yuan per day. On average, the distributor's per-case distribution cost is about 1.5 yuan. With the commercial logistics model, warehousing costs for these goods are only 20,000 yuan, loading/unloading costs 8-10 yuan per ton, and transportation costs are supported by the Wanshanggou platform. The per-case distribution cost is only 0.8 yuan, saving nearly half the cost. Summary of Yishang's model features:

  1. Unified warehousing and distribution + bus-style logistics significantly reduce distributor warehousing and distribution costs. Due to extremely high efficiency in warehouse, equipment, and personnel usage, coupled with the bus-style distribution model, if distributors use Yishang Logistics for their distribution, they can reduce warehousing and distribution costs by 70% compared to self-built operations. This huge cost advantage is an irresistible temptation for any distributor.
  2. No agency, no stealing distributors' business, helping distributors improve efficiency. Yishang refuses manufacturer temptations and focuses on logistics, allowing distributors to confidently hand over their goods for distribution without worrying about being undercut.
  3. Infrastructure has rigid market demand; once built, it cannot be replaced. Logistics is one of the most important infrastructures in the supply chain. As long as scale benefits are prominent, both distributors and platforms can cooperate and cannot refuse cooperation.
