Don't Brainstorm with My Time, Give Me Solutions, Okay? (A Must-Read for Newbies)
On my second day at work, my supervisor told me, "Don't use my time to brainstorm; give me clear solutions." For example, when tasked with planning a major event in December, I spent 14 hours at home crafting a plan, only to realize I lacked basic knowledge. So I proactively engaged colleagues to understand the product and what I needed to learn. Eventually, the plan matured, and I discovered many flexible approaches. You have to figure out methods yourself; the time you invest will show in the results.
