1 Six Major Exhibition Areas and Ten Specialized Sub-Zones Ready to Welcome Visitors This year's fair will utilize all available venues at the Chongqing International Expo Center, with a total exhibition area of 156,000 square meters. The exhibition areas will continue to be divided into six major categories: wine and international spirits, traditional alcoholic beverages, food and beverages, condiments, food machinery, and food packaging. Additionally, based on the needs of buyers and sellers in various sub-categories, special zones will be set up within each major area, including imported food, imported beer, leisure food, brand agriculture, forest food, food technology, international food machinery, restaurant chain franchising, internet e-commerce, and financial services, to facilitate convenient negotiations and precise matchmaking between producers and traders. Among these, the financial services zone is a first in the history of the National Sugar and Wine Fair, attracting multiple financial institutions focused on industrial investment and supply chain management, dedicated to providing tailor-made financial services for sugar, wine, and food enterprises.

2 Large-Scale Events Such as the Food Science and Technology Exchange and Global Food Joy Purchases Highlight the Autumn Fair's Characteristics The "China Food Science and Technology Achievement Exchange" is a signature project of the autumn fair, having been held for three consecutive sessions. It has played an important role in technological innovation, industry-university-research collaboration, and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the domestic food and alcoholic beverage industries. For this session, the organizing body will continue to collaborate with the Beijing Academy of Food Sciences and the Journal of Food Science to hold the "Fourth China Food Science and Technology Achievement Exchange." The event will include exhibitions and exchanges of scientific and technological achievements, new food product displays, and industry-university-research project matchmaking. It will invite professional teams from nearly 50 universities and research institutions to showcase over 2,000 food science and technology achievements, bringing a feast of technology to food enterprises. At the same time, to address the different needs of food companies, experts will provide "one-on-one" technology consulting services to solve practical problems encountered in production and share the productive power of technology.

The "Global Food Joy Purchases" event will also be held concurrently. It will invite some exhibitors to bring high-quality imported food products to well-known shopping malls and supermarkets in Chongqing's Jiefangbei and Guanyinqiao business districts, conducting large-scale promotions and interactive activities for ordinary consumers, along with national theme day presentations for products from different countries, bringing tangible benefits to the people of Chongqing.

3 Various Forums and Activities Are Exciting and Diverse, Igniting Industry Passion "Holding exhibitions and conferences simultaneously" is a traditional feature of the National Sugar and Wine Fair. For this session, the organizing body has arranged more than twenty supporting activities, with heavyweight guests gathering and enthusiastic participation from all sides. Many activities will be presented for the first time on the autumn fair stage.

The "China Alcoholic Beverage Industry Business Leaders 50 Forum" (referred to as China Alcoholic Beverage G50), initiated by the China Alcoholic Beverage Circulation Association, is a high-specification and influential business leaders' organization in China's alcoholic beverage industry. Its member companies include 8 listed production enterprises and 3 listed circulation enterprises, with member companies' sales revenue accounting for one-quarter of the industry. This year, the second annual summit of the China Alcoholic Beverage G50 Forum will be held during the 97th National Sugar and Wine Fair, where top business leaders in the alcoholic beverage industry will gather in Chongqing to exchange views and assess the establishment of a new ecological circle and new marketing models for the industry.

The China Sugar, Wine, and Food Industry Investment and Financing Fair is an important platform for industry investment and financing, having been successfully held nine times and helping over 1,000 food enterprises find investment and financing partners. Under the national policy encouraging financial capital to inject into the real economy, the event organizer, the China Light Industry Enterprise Investment Development Association, has invited a large number of excellent financial service providers such as CreditEase, Tencent Supply Chain Finance, Ant Financial, Feixiang Jinyun, and JD Finance to jointly solve the capital usage problems in enterprise operations. Lai Yifen, Liangpinpuzi, Jiuxian.com, and 7-11, as large circulation food enterprises, will share their unique business methods and capital utilization strategies on site.

The first China Condiment Masters Invitational Tournament will be held at the condiment exhibition area of the National Sugar and Wine Fair. It invites professional chef teams active in the catering industry to showcase the ingredients, exhibitors, and products of the fair through an interesting cooking challenge format.

The China Baijiu Cocktail Competition and the China Qualifying Round for the 2018 IBA World Cocktail Championship, co-organized by the China Alcoholic Beverage Circulation Association and the International Sommelier Association, will also hold its finals during this autumn fair. In addition, the widely acclaimed main forum of the autumn fair—the China Business Practice Conference, the "Golden Products, New Channels" Imported Food Summit Forum, the International Machinery Technology Exchange, the International Franchise Forum, and the FMCG + Internet Conference will also be held as scheduled.

4 The Third FMCG + Internet Conference: The Largest Knowledge Conference at This Year's Autumn Fair The China FMCG + Internet Conference (CFIC) is hosted by New Distribution and is the largest and most influential leadership summit in the FMCG industry. It has been successfully held twice and has become a bellwether for the "Internet+" transformation and upgrading of the entire Chinese FMCG supply chain. The conference aims to sort out transformation paths for FMCG brand owners and distributors in urgent need of transformation, provide centralized product (solution) and service displays for enterprise service providers, and build a large-scale offline summit for FMCG practitioners to communicate, interact, and connect.

B2B e-commerce platforms, which became popular last year, and this year JD.com and Alibaba have successively entered this industry, both loudly announcing plans to transform one million small stores. Regardless of whether their "small goal" of one million stores can be achieved, their arrival declares that internet giants have officially set their sights on offline entities.

Moreover, this industry is like the ice in northern rivers in March—it looks thick but cannot withstand pressure! The industry is already highly competitive, and with net profits generally not exceeding 5%, the arrival of internet companies is bound to stir up a bloody storm.

Of course, many traditional enterprises believe they have offline advantages, and similarly, internet e-commerce companies believe they have online advantages. Which is superior? The results can only be determined through market validation.

However, many facts have proven that the most effective way to avoid being disrupted by the internet is to embrace it, combining offline and online, and fully transforming into e-commerce.

But for internet transformation, how to transform and in which direction? If not transforming, what better alternatives are there?

This conference will closely focus on the theme "New Forces, New Ecology," inviting 500+ brand owners, 1000+ distributors, 200+ national B2B platform founders, and 2000 leaders from logistics, new retail, investment institutions, and supply chain services to gather together, focusing on the deep topic of "model innovation and supply chain services," jointly deconstructing the current state of industry development and exploring new chapters of cross-border integration!

Core Topics of This Conference:

  • How can the FMCG industry leverage B2B to achieve new growth opportunities?

  • How should the new supply chain behind new retail be built?

  • How can intra-city logistics help B2B achieve leapfrog development?

Highlights of This Conference:

  • The industry's first "2017 China FMCG B2B Industry Competitiveness White Paper"

  • Case studies of excellent distributors undergoing transformation and upgrading

  • Upgraded conference + exhibition, with the Internet Technology Exhibition in Hall 6 strengthening matchmaking

  • Leaders from well-known enterprises in various fields, including JD New Channel, PGL Financial, Alibaba Retail Link, Eternal Asia Supply Chain, Zhongshang Huimin, Best Store Plus, Yijiupi, and Haiding, will deliver speeches and share pioneering viewpoints.
