# Field 365 Supports Electronic Signatures, Safeguarding Your Contract Signing

> In May 2017, in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, a wholesaler named Ms. Ding signed a 12-month paid display agreement with a salesperson from a beverage company, but the promised rewards were never delivered. This incident highlights the risks of contract fraud in FMCG distribution. Electronic signatures, such as those provided by e签宝 in partnership with Field 365, offer a solution by ensuring authenticity, compliance, and efficiency in contract signing and management.

In May 2017, in Jiaxing, Zhejiang.
Ms. Ding, who runs a wholesale store, signed a 12-month paid display agreement with Xiao Li, a salesperson from XXB Beverage.
The agreement stipulated that after Ms. Ding purchased 150 cases, as long as she displayed XXB Beverage at the entrance, she would receive display rewards: for the first three months, 5 cases per month; from the fourth month onward, 3 cases per month until the agreement ended in December.
However, after the agreement was signed, the salesperson "disappeared"; the agreed "5 cases" of XXB were never delivered even once.
Upon investigation, it turned out that Xiao Li, in order to boost his sales volume, had fabricated the "5 cases per month" display fee reward.
Clearly, such behavior is very damaging to the brand image of the enterprise!
What's worse, such scenarios seem to occur every day on the front lines of consumer goods companies.
Even more frightening, such scenarios are not limited to paid display agreements; they can also occur in sales procurement, supplier reconciliation, distributor reconciliation, employee onboarding and offboarding, and many other processes.
How to ensure that every document signed by an enterprise is authentic and legally binding has become a key concern for many companies.
**The emergence of electronic signatures has solved many of these problems.**
An electronic signature is a form of signature on electronic documents using cryptographic technology.
Electronic signatures play an important role in **promoting cost reduction and efficiency, optimizing management processes, avoiding contract fraud, and helping enterprises achieve compliance**.
〡Promoting cost reduction and efficiency: Electronic signatures can improve the efficiency of contract signing and management, reducing time and economic costs for enterprises.
〡Avoiding contract fraud: On one hand, online contract signing makes the entire signing process transparent; on the other hand, electronic signatures ensure "identity authenticity," "intent authenticity," "signature authenticity," and "original text authenticity" during the signing process, effectively ensuring the entire contract signing process is genuine and valid.
〡Helping enterprises achieve compliance: All contracts signed with electronic signatures are **legally compliant in process** and enjoy legal protection. In the event of disputes or litigation, electronically signed contracts can be used as court evidence.
Many of Field 365's customers have application scenarios for online contract signing, such as **the signing of paid display agreements with stores, and the confirmation and signing of reconciliation statements with distributors**...
**Field 365 has partnered with e签宝, a well-known service provider in China's internet electronic signature industry, to safeguard online contract signing for enterprises.
After the cooperation, contract signing becomes like this (using store paid display and distributor reconciliation as examples):
1\. Real-name authentication
Multi-factor real-name authentication is performed for all roles involved in the contract signing process, including brand owners, brand employees, distributors, and terminal store owners.
2\. Paid display agreement signing
Signing process:
●The brand authorizes employee A (can be multiple) to initiate paid display agreements
●Employee A initiates a paid display agreement to terminal store owner Zhang San in Field 365 (verifying A's identity via SMS or facial recognition at initiation)
●Zhang San receives the paid display agreement on WeChat service account or mini program, and reviews the agreement
●Zhang San signs the agreement on the mini program, with identity verification via SMS or facial recognition at signing
3\. Distributor reconciliation statement signing
Signing process:
●The brand authorizes employee B (can be multiple) to initiate distributor reconciliation statements (verifying B's identity via SMS or facial recognition at initiation)
●The process is the same as above
In case of contract disputes, the electronic signature service provider can provide certification or legal services, as shown in the figure below:
Actual case:
A well-known domestic food company has approximately 3,000 distributors. Each distributor sends a reconciliation statement via SF Express once a month. Assuming the statement is correct, the distributor signs it and sends it back by mail. On average, each distributor does this twice, at a cost of 10 yuan per shipment. The annual cost is:
3000*2*12*10=**720,000 yuan** !!!
After using Field 365's online reconciliation function, all reconciliation statements have moved from offline to online. All signing steps are supported by electronic signature services, saving costs and ensuring security and compliance.
If you are still contributing to the revenue of "SF Express and other couriers" and are troubled by "contract compliance," Field 365 may be able to help you!
