**1F Qixi Headlines**
**Dove/Yili/Qiaqia and Other Brands Launch 'Romance Battle' on Qixi**
Chinese traditional Qixi Festival has always been a battleground for brands. What tricks did brands play this year? Daily FMCG Morning Report rounds up for you:
**1. As a standard for Qixi, chocolate naturally features Dove.** It is understood that Dove launched a limited-edition gift box for Qixi. Offline, they also created a themed display of 'Meeting Love on Qixi' to create a festive atmosphere.
**2. Yili Changqing creates China's first 'Subway Love Letter Station'.** Yili Changqing previously sponsored the new season of celebrity dating reality show 'We Are in Love: Love Has Its Will'. Leveraging the influence of celebrities like Zheng Kai, they plastered the Xinjiekou subway station with love letters from famous people, attracting many young consumers.
**3. Qiaqia launches 'Blue Bag Confession Pack', where love and food are not to be let down.** Besides an upgraded taste, the biggest difference is the 'fun' experience. The product's outer packaging features a heart-shaped QR code, and the card inside the bag has another QR code—one for confessing love, the other for viewing confessions. Additionally, Qiaqia produced short videos like 'A Thousand Years of Chinese Flirting History' to win over young couples.
**Yuan's Brief Comment**
In the past, Qixi marketing was more about advertising or supermarket displays for promotion. Now, Qixi marketing activities are no longer limited to a single form. Limited editions, confession love letters, confession packs, short videos, etc.—brands seem to be pulling out all the stops to win the hearts of young consumers through multiple channels, forms, and content. Of course, this is not just about boosting sales, but also about deepening consumer preference for the brand. At least it shows consumers: this is your festival, 'I am with you'.
